Basic Party & Group Information

When:  Birthday Parties, School, Night and Group events for the 2019 season are hosted from the last weekend in September, through the end of October. Each weekend event is a max of a 2 ½ hour time slot, Friday night events are 3 hours long and weekday trips are a 1 ½ hours long. Additional time for any events may be available, depending on availability, will be an additional charge.

Where:  All events are hosted in the back side field of the farm. Entrance is at the garden center off 263 (York Rd), where you will see signs directing back to the festival grounds. Parties and groups have a reserved space under our tents. Our 20’x40’ party tent is divided between two groups; each group has a reserved 20’x20’ tent space. *Full tent rentals are available upon request*

Decorations:  Please feel free to bring any of your own decorations for your party area. We recommend bringing tape to secure your decorations, as it can breezy on the festival grounds. In order to keep the farm clean, confetti or any other small loose decorations are not allowed.

Food Policy:  You are allowed to bring your own food. In this case, we ask that you are responsible for any paper products and utensils you may need for your group. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be brought on to the farm. We do have permitted breweries and wineries available on select dates.  Please view our event calendar for details.

Food packages are available at the festival to fit any group or parties needs on request (WEEKENDS ONLY). All food orders must be confirmed one week prior to event. We will supply all basic paper products for any party or group who selects a food package.

A popular party food option is pizza delivery! We love supporting local, below are a couple of our local pizzeria favorites:

Set Up & Clean Up:  Set up time is available 30 minutes before the reserved time of your party. We do ask that your party area must be cleaned and emptied within 15 minutes of the end of the reserved party time, so that we can have the tents ready for any parties following yours. You and your group are more than welcome to stay as long as you like after the party within our event hours.

Payment & Party Package Policy:  A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date and time of event; $100.00 non-refundable deposit for a full tent rental. The balance for all parties and group events is due on the day of your event. There is a $100.00 minimum charge for all events. All package changes must be confirmed at least ONE WEEK before your event. After this time, no changes can be made, except for adding any additional activities, if the schedule allows.

School & Group Policy:  There must be one chaperone/adult or teacher for every 2-3 children, depending on ages and needs.  Froehlich’s Farm employees will be there to guide you through your trip at the farm, but they are not responsible for any or all individuals in the group.

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations can be made at any time. All deposits are non-refundable.

Inclement Weather Policy:  Scheduled events are held regardless of weather conditions.  In the event of inclement weather we will try our best to accommodate you, however if the fall festival is cancelled, so are all events and parties.  Your $50.00 deposit will be refundable.

Rain Dates:  Although we have expanded our party area, birthday parties and group events are very popular here at the farm. We continue to find our party areas are filling up quickly and are reserved for many of the times that we offer. We hope that you can understand how rain dates can be very difficult for us! Should you prefer to schedule a rain date here at the farm, we can guarantee a limited number of picnic tables as an alternative area for your group, as our party areas may not guaranteed for select rain dates.
